2026 | Salzburg (AT) Career Guidance, Immersively Staged
The Chamber of Commerce of Salzburg (Wirtschaftskammer Salzburg) turns career guidance into an experience: at the Berufserlebniswelt Salzburg, sixth-grade students discover the breadth of the working world for themselves – across five experience zones from workshop to bar, held together by a continuous story about a time traveller from the future. This journey opens and closes in the heart of the venue: an experience cinema that carries the arc of the entire narrative.
Kraftwerk Living Technologies was responsible for the media-technology fit-out – and, with the experience cinema, for its dramaturgical centrepiece. In place of a conventional screen, a large-format, immersive LED display draws young guests into the specially produced film with a borderless, high-contrast image. Conceived as a multisensory experience, it lets sound, light and effects condense the film into something physically felt. A central show-control system keeps image, audio, lighting and effects in frame-accurate step – in the cinema and across the media-equipped stations of the experience zones.
So career guidance begins not as a talk but as an experience that speaks to head and heart alike. Because the show-control layer ties the media technology together across every zone, narrative, stations and effects mesh seamlessly – and an exhibition becomes one continuous journey that lasts.
